Hi
Anyone recommend a good desktop search utility?
I hate Windows Search (v4.0?) with a passion, because it takes up too
many resources.
Google Desktop (latest) used to be quite good, but
a) it's filtering is sh*t.
b) it has now become extremely slow on my PC (even after a full un-
install/re-install)
c) And now it has stopped indexing many of my emails *completely*
I tried Copernic about 6 months ago but hated it.
(Also a friend tried they Yahoo thing but hated it for some reason.)
- Any other suggestions?
I'd be prepared to pay say $10 for reasonable software - maybe up to
$50 for a really good one...
