From an SEO (and general usability) perspective, which do you think is
better? One big site that covers a number of different areas or several
smaller sites which are specific to one area?
My personal website started out many years ago as a hobby (which it still
is), but it now has sections covering very different topics. For example,
glossary, file-extensions, oracle notes, Delphi etc etc. From an SEO
perspective would it be better to bite the bullet and move each of these to
their own domain or sub-domain, or doesn't it really matter? I think from a
usability perspective I may migrate some to a sub-domain, but wonder whether
this is good or bad from an SEO perspective.
Welcome your thoughts. Thanks.
