I wish I had the funds available to buy a pair of hearing aids. I knew I had
a hearing deficit, but just last week I was "spoken to" about my hearing loss
by my boss and his boss at work. My job may be in jeopardy because it's
almost impossible for me to participate in meetings, and it's a strain to
hold a conversation with individuals. I will be 64 in January, but I need to
continue working and can't afford to retire.
I apparently make too much money to qualify for assistance, but not enough to
save for them. Unfortunately, my credit rating isn't good enough (especially
with credit requirements at present) to qualify for a loan. I'm not a
veteran so I can't go to the VA. I'm at a loss, and not just my hearing.
What to do, what to do...
