I am an engineer, but not a RF engineer. Below paragraph is about RF topic.
I know a bit of 'dummy load', which is a kind of RF device. My question is
about the last sentence: "all other options are nothing else than a dummy l=
The author means that RF basically needs some high quality cables and a dum=
load in most cases? I really don't believe so, as RF has other very useful
devices such as splitter, mixer etc. What do you think about its meaning?

in buying a good quality cable is a bargain. Cheap cables are intended to b=
used at low frequencies, not higher than VHF. Microwaves require the highes=
quality cables, all other options are nothing else than a dummy load.
